Introduction
Welcome to LearnPath. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our website, application, and related services.
LearnPath brings together the best available courses, carefully curated to guide you through topics like game development, 3D art, mathematics, and data science — from your first lesson to your own projects. An AI assistant supports your learning with summaries and questions on the courses you study, and a built-in coding environment makes practice easy.
By using LearnPath, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
A Note on Course Content and Intellectual Property
No part of any course referenced or listed on this Platform is printed, reproduced, redistributed, copyrighted, or otherwise used for profit by us. Courses are referenced and linked to solely to guide learners toward the original source material. All rights, titles, and interests in the referenced courses remain solely with their original creators, publishers, or rights holders. This Platform is not operated for the purpose of profiting from third-party course content. Any subscription fees charged by the Platform go toward supporting the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Platform's own tools — including course curation, the AI assistant, the Codelab, and hosting infrastructure — not toward monetizing third-party material.
We do not claim ownership over code you write in the Codelab. This data is processed only to provide the testing/sandbox functionality and, where applicable, to improve that functionality.

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers: hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, and AI API providers, who process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations, limited to what's necessary to perform their function.
- Referenced course providers: we do not automatically share your data with the third-party platforms whose courses we reference. If you click through to an external course, that provider's own privacy policy governs any data you share with them directly.
- Legal and compliance purposes: if required to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or respond to lawful requests.

Local Storage and Similar Technologies
We store small amounts of data in your browser to make the platform work. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers, or any form of cross-site tracking. Browser storage (localStorage) is used for:
- Essential functions: keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences.
- Functional purposes: personalizing your experience, such as your chosen theme (light or dark).
- In-progress input: securely saving feedback or notes you are writing so they are not lost.
You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing it will sign you out and reset preferences such as your theme, but it will not affect your account or data stored on our servers.
Third-Party Links
The Platform contains links to independently operated, third-party course providers (e.g., YouTube, Udemy, Coursera, Skillshare, LinkedIn Learning, and others). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party platform before providing them with personal information.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to any legal retention requirements (e.g., financial records).
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the feedback system in your account.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or a higher age threshold where required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without the required consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
International Data Transfers
If you access the Service from outside the country where our servers or service providers are located, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a different country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect data transferred internationally.
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Guides, summaries, questions, and other content generated by the AI assistant are produced automatically and may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. This content is intended to support your learning journey and is not a substitute for the original referenced course material.
